How many times a day do you wash your hands with soap? (bleeding, feeling)

Many times and when I'm out I also use hand sanitizer, especially with this flu season.
I had an aunt die after she handled money for her work. My surviving aunt would spray everything with Lysol after the cleaning lady left her home. She would even wipe down the newspaper as they just toss it at the house. I'm not that bad but it is important.

One experience with conjunctivitis cured me from not washing my hands after being in public places. I have hand sanitizer that I use for that and I wash my hands with soap and water after using the bathroom and kitchen chores.
More reasons to not touch face and EYES with hands, if need to, wash hands.
The only times my hands are in soapy water is when I'm washing some dishes..I don't use an electric dishwasher...I'm as electric as they come. I use no sanitizer. I've never been kinda paranoid about germs. I don't put my hands in my mouth or near my face.
Alcohol-based hand sanitizers kill most types of bacteria, viruses and fungi in a few seconds. While rubbing your hands with sanitizer for 15 seconds is ideal, poor hand-sanitizer use still beats poor hand washing.
The only time I wash my hands is if there is something "really" objectionable on them like cat pee. Otherwise, I don't. My hands get washed collaterally when I take a bath or do the dishes.
Wash my hands after taking a dump..... not always tho after I pee.
Otherwise I wash my hands from when I come in from work after I use a public or work restroom, wash my hands before I eat, after I go for a run. I wash my hands before and after handling food generally. Prob on average wash between 5 and 10 times a day.
I wash with soap and water all the time, especially right now (during flu and cold season). (But also, I have a dog and a cat, so I'm picking up animal poop on a daily basis, sometimes a couple/few times a day.)
I also have put forth a lot of effort to wash more thoroughly. I used to be a very cursory washer, but now I really linger over it. Washing with soap and water is mechanical. The soap breaks down the oils, etc. on the skin, and the rubbing your hands together creates friction that helps to loosen the microbes so they can be rinsed away with water.
Well, since I work in a hospital I definately wash my hands with soap/water more than 20 times a day! Outside
of working probably a bit less but more than the average person, I bet! If you've seen what I've seen you would too. I rarely get sick considering where I work!
