I got myself quite worked up about spotting which, after my initial appointment, turned into almost constant bleeding. An ultrasound detected benign fibroids, which are quite common. There are million and one things that unexpected bleeding can be and it's good that you are seeing your doctor ASAP regardless of what it is.

An update and question.

Pap came back normal. Missed my follow up ultrasound and rescheled for mar 2. Hadn't had any reoccurrences till yesterday.

I've also noticed that recently I get hot sometimes. Almost like a mini hot flash which incidently I didn't really suffer from during menopause. Here it is 12 years since my last period and what? My hormones have decided to have a last gasp or something?

Another update and question.

The transvaginal ultrasound found a polyp and area of uterine thickening. So I had surger to remove the polyp.

Now the dr has proscribed progesterone for the thickening and another ultrasound in 90 days.

Meanwhile I've zoomed on 12 lbs out of nowhere. Is progesterone going to make that worse? Are there repercussions to progesterone?
