Is this the same poster from a recent thread complaining they had no sense of smell or taste but that it's just what happens to them when they get a cold?

Even if it is, this poster should get tested. My mom thought she had a cold too until she lost her sense of taste and someone else I know apparently had the same experience.

If it is a re-occurring event for you - Check with your doctor first for the causes, but you may try zinc supplementation in conjunction with copper ( zinc has to be in a certain proportion with copper)

Hope, that you are not too skinny- how is your appetite?

My uncle has reoccurring nasal polyps and loses his sense of taste and smell. Once he gets them removed, those senses return, but slowly the polyps grow back over the years, then rinse and repeat!

Maybe you have nasal polyps?
