I made an appointment, they still kept me waiting for over an hour.
Your mileage will vary.
Same here. Made the appointment, showed up at the right time, gave them my insurance info, and they told me to wait in the car. I listened to an hour-long podcast before they called me to come in.
Didn't mind. Needed to have proof of a negative test, and it gave me an excuse to listen to the podcast. The rapid test results were texted to me 20 minutes later, the PRC results a day after.
I knew peeps would throw out the go get tested bs jess. But i don't have CV19. Just a pollen thing i get around every 15 years.
Well, I think the issue is I know a lot of people with allergies including myself. They aren’t a once every 15 year proposition. Pollen comes around every year it’s seasonal. So every 15 years seems odd.
And you’re doing it when that’s a big thing around Covid so you can understand why people told you that.

That's still a far cry from the alleged 8 hours wait. The CVS's around here are doing it through the drive-thru and making appointments at 15 minute intervals so not sure how they can keep you waiting.
You're very lucky. My daughter and grandson took 2 hours last night at the pediatric urgent care. People were coming and going but they didn't. They had a rapid test that came back negative. My daughter has a lot of symptoms, even my 7 year old grandson is very fatigued since Monday, I'll be shocked if the other test doesn't come back positive.
I've been behind a few cars doing COVID tests at CVS. Takes about 15 minutes for each car. I see the cashier showing them how to shove the Q-tip up their nose.
That's why they have appointment times spaced 15 minutes apart. Although I can't see how it takes anyone 15 minutes. The cashier's at all our CVS's are speaking through an intercom and they read from a script.
Seeing as coronavirus is just the common cold that nurses are saying they're seeing, what makes this any different than the smell/taste attenuating congestion OP said she experiences every 15 years?
Whats the reason why anyone post? I got no one to cry 2 and wanted to vent gent. Not eaten in 6 days and i am upset and wanna break things. I love food and the joy of eating has been taken away jay.

We have a extra bad pollen every few years. Never been sick in my life other than in 1988 and 2003. All this was was a loss of taste and smell and a tiny bit of runny nose. I don't mind it if it were not for the not eating for days since food has no taste. Taste should start to come back by mid week next week. This is oak pollen in my area i work. At home we have no trees since i am right on the gulf.
