FL that has not had a real winter in over 30 years. 80's most of the winter anymore. Pollen has been off the charts for 2 weeks now. My nose is fine now. Still no taste or smell mel.

So this is NOT an uncommon thing, you apparently don't want to get a test - just roll with it.

Yeppers.
Some coronaviruses cause colds. The test does not pick those up. It is specific for SARS-CoV-2.

Where are you? I made an appointment online at CVS, arrived at the drive-thru 5 minutes before appointment time, and was leaving 10-15 minutes later.

A small number of the 200 viruses that cause "common cold" are. The others are rhinoviruses.

I'm in Northern California...and I woke up a few days ago with a sore throat. Had to go out that day -- the acacia trees are blooming. Someone somewhere has them around here... I go through this every year....

My Japanese maple is budding -- just starting... my camellias are in full bloom.

Spring is about ready to be sprung! So, yeah, it's allergies, not Covid. I got antibodies for that.

I had a sore throat and it turned out to be COVID.

Did you get your antibodies from natural immunity or from vaccination? The vaccines are specifically not designed to prevent COVID infection or spread.
