I moved to Colorado at 34 and tried marijuana for the first time in my late 30s. Turns out" I Don’t Like Being High," And it mostly just makes me feel sleepy. But I started keeping a stash of edible gummies for my headaches because while they helped minimally with the pain, they calmed my stress over the pain enough that I could sleep and missed fewer days of work. So I would only take them as needed.
Well, the pandemic happened, and my sleep schedule went straight to hell. I started having an edible almost every night to help me drift off. And guess what? In the past year, I have not had a single headache that necessitated me taking a sick day or caused me anything more than mild discomfort.
Ehhh, too many superlatives. "wonderful" "Amazing" "amazing" (again) "fantastic" and not one mention of any of the downsides.
Cannabis makes a lot of people stupid, and it has other adverse effects if they use too much. This is not news. Some are just in denial of the obvious.
Its a plant. It has some useful properties. It has some side effects too. Its not a god, its just a plant and a drug whose use has pros and cons.
It's not the cannabis that "makes a lot of people stupid"..it's the alcohol they're drinking with it.
They truly are in denial when they believe it's the marijuana thats to blame.
I can't think of one negative quality about cannabis...unless it's the munchies.

Lol. No I truly hate it. I get bored and feel like I’m wasting time. But another benefit seems to be less severe spring allergies. This was unexpected. I had allergies show up two years ago and I was miserable. Only minor symptoms this year. My friend who has veterinary and public health degrees was pretty sure the edibles were the reason.
That isn't the point I was making. You seemingly believe that coming from God's green earth makes it a good thing. I was pointing out that poisonous things also come from the same earth.
Yep. Lots of toxic things come from "God's green earth". Doesn't make them any safer.
Super weird “side effect”: I no longer am in pain during massive weather changes, but I react the same way. Meaning if clouds roll in (which often triggered headaches) I still feel the urge to go to sleep, as that was the only way to avoid the pain previously. I’m going to have to reprogram my brain
