They are doing the scans under sedation since there are so many and over two days. God this is awful. My head is pounding.

I have had similar symptoms which also included burning/frozen/itchey sensations. Mine was diagnosed as Transverse Myelitis for now. I have had several MRI's, a spinal, EEG, countless blood tests and I know it is super scary. My back (upper and lower back) as well as my brain was looked at. Once they found something they went and did another MRI with the contrast. I was on disability for a year and then went back to work (been here a year this month). Last Thursday I woke up with eye pain (cannot move my eyes to the side without pain and they are tender to the touch) and once my neuro heard, he made an appt for me right away. In fact, I see him in an hour. I am not thrilled with the prospect of going through all these tests again but it is what it is (a DRAG!).
If you have any questions re please feel free to DM me. As the spouse, if YOU have any questions on how to deal, I can ask my husband for you. He has been WONDERFUL. All I can say is be patient with your husband. His symptoms MAY come and go and he may feel better or worse some days.
You are in my thoughts. If it is ANY help at all, MRI's are strangely relaxing for me and others I have heard. MY only problem is staying still.
