I'm starting a new thread for a next to new feeling or dilema I'm having at the moment. I cannot remember the last time I overate, so I'm not sure what to do. Thanks to MoMark and his soup recipe I am in dire need of any and all help right now! I ate WAY too much and I feel like I'm gonna barf! Should I just let myself barf and get it out of my system? Take an antacid? I feel horrible!!
Thanks Evey...I gave it shot and it was just what I needed! As soon as it hit the back of my throat that was it. I barfed...so now I feel better! Thanks!! (no sarcasm here...your idea worked cause I feel better)!
I've read that it takes about 15 minutes after eating before pressure and stretch receptors in your stomach shut off the hunger impulse in the CNS (brain). So try eating more slowly, or taking a break after about 10 minutes of slow eating for another 10 and see if you start to feel full. That way you can avoid over eating all together. I know it's hard, especially when the food is good! Good luck!
What the H**L was in that soup, and where can I find the recipe??!!
That would've been MoMark's 'crock-pot quickies' in the food thread. It was DELICIOUS!!! I haven't eaten that much since I don't know when...all I know is I couldn't stop. My kids loved it too!
I'm glad you liked it cold eh ND, sorry you hurled from being a little piggie!!!! Glad your kids liked it too It sounds like you did everything right and added the rice about 25 min. before serving....reading your posting is making me hungry now ! (except for the barf visual )
barf.... to make yourself feel good.... make sure not too loud... lol
