Is it me or does there seem that every years the flus and viruses get worse every year? My kids are sick again with some kind of rotovirus. My one just got over an earache-cold thing. My oldest had the H1N1 in October... it just never ENDS!

We will likely get this stomach virus too... last year we had some norovirus that was the worst thing I ever had in my life. I reported it to the health dept. because we thought it was food poisoning.

When I was growing up in the 70s, I never remember us kids being sick with bugs as severe as this. I was a relatively healthy child.

Every year January and February are completely shot because someone is sick. Are they getting worse?

I don't know if there are "more" bug but I do know the bugs out there are mutated bugs due to the overuse of antibiotics that have made todays bugs tougher that ever to get rid of.

I am sick this Feb. and I was sick last Feb. Some type of flu junk. I used to go for years without getting sick, maybe it's because I'm older. Every year I get the flu or whatever it is. I got the seasonal shot, I always do and I always get sick anyway. Didn't get the H1N1 though.

NO, I don't think it is because you are getting older. Maybe it is just a bad year, but when I was growing up, we didn't get the stomach virus every single year. Now we do. Big flu - every year it seems. This year of course, bigger than most. We had one kid come down with H1N1.

I just hate my kids getting sick constantly - missing all kinds of school - which affects their grades. And I feel so bad for them being so sick. Not to mention doctor bills $$$. And when I get sick, my place doesn't pay me for sick days. which is more $$$.

About five years ago, seriously, we were sick for about 4 months Non-stop with something or other. January til about April or so.

Darn I wish more people would wash their hands and not cough on everybody!
