I have had an unappeasable hunger for the last 2 weeks. When I say unappeasable, I mean that. There is absolutely nothing I can do which would make me feel full. I refuse to gorge myself and I will not eat fattening foods.

But I have never felt this way, ever. I'm 26, 6'1 208lbs. I have very little body fat and mostly muscle. I am not exercising anymore than normal.

Any clue as to what the **** is going on? Normally I have a very predictable dietary pattern, but this is just odd.

Have you changed vitamins or supplements lately? Some vitamins/supplements can do this to you. At 26, your body could also be going through some normal changes. Keep in mind, when your body is "hungry" for needed nutrients, it will trigger you to eat whatever you can to get those nutrients.

Are you pregnant? Hahaha, just kiding. That is odd, and has never happened to me. I don't know. However, back in the days when I lifted weights and ate a clean diet, I would get severe cravings for pizza and sweets.

I always let loose about once a month, ate a whole pizza for dinner or something...

Have you noticed jitters, heart palpitations, changes in hair texture or hair loss, excess energy or super tired too?

Not really. Sometimes after a good weekend of drinking I'll feel some jitters and heart fluttering though!

Still have a full head of hair, energy level normal... just always ready to much. It's so unlike me.

Nope, never taken any sort of vitamins or nutrients in my life, other than a healthy diet, for the most part.

Yeah, maybe it's just a random craving. Hope I'm not pregnant, haven't been violated since prison and that was way longer than 9 months ago. haha jk

Sounds like your body is sending the wrong signals and getting confused. Get checked out by the doctor and see if there are excess or not enough hormones/enzymes/etc running around. Maybe the hunger feeling is a gut problem? Just a few thoughts.

I can't tell you what your problem is really, this is an internet forum afterall, but those symptoms are attributed to Hyperthyroid, generally, but not always.
Thyroid disease is tricky and highly personal but the general symptoms of hypo and hyper thyroidism can be shared.

Hypo / hyper
Basically one is too high of a metabolism and the other is too low?

Well, in a very broad sense yes....I had multi-nodal hyperthyroid disease, and early on, I had all sorts of seemingly unrelated symptoms, but the eating binge thing is what totally freaked me out, I was worried that I was preggers, (unlike you Jays, I do not "have a member")
