For all women How long is your cycle? I recently went off birth control I had been on it for 5 years.. i expected my period to come every 28 days BOY was i wrong.. Mine is every 38 days.. I'm curious to see how many women are like me.
I've been on the pill since I got married 6 years ago, so have no idea what my "normal" cycle would be. Right now I'm every 60-90 days depending on my schedule.
Mine is unpredictable. I've got severe endometriosis so I've got spotting throughout the month. The cycle isn't regular. Some days it's 20 days or so, others it's 30ish. Usually more in the 20 zone.
I stopped BCs in December after 10+ years on them (off and on) and got my first cycle about 11 days later. The next one was 28 days on the dot, the next one was 32 days, and the next one never came because I got knocked up in month 3 off the pill.
When I was still in the menstrual years, my cycle was 32-39 days--never less than 30. This went on the entire time until a hysterectomy at age 40. I was once on BC pills 45 years ago for 3 years and when I went off it was a year before I was having any kind of regular cycle again. During that year I took a short course of BC pills 3 different times to stimulate my ovaries to start functioning again on their own, as I was going 3-4 months without a period.
27 days like clockwork; it has rarely varied over the course of 31 years.
