The powers that be see the powerful man that Hitler was and the power of his ideas that are still with us. Think National Socialism. A quote: "Greater than the tred of mighty armies is an idea whose time has come".--Victor Hugo. Is National Socialism the idea whose time has come? What they are afraid of isn't another holocaust but this new idea.

How is the idea of National Socialism new? Last time I checked it was tried and failed. Many of the economic ideas and programs that were used by the Nazi's have already been ingrained in many countries, particularly in Europe. If we are talking about the few positive lessons from National Socialism, those already exist, being made positive by stripping the racial ideologies that drove the Nazi versions of those plans.
As for artifacts being destroyed and Hesse's remains moved, etc. that is being done to prevent them from becoming icons of the neo-Nazi movement. The original Nazi state had certain occult and ceremonial elements to it. One of those was the role that artifacts played in the process. For instance, annointing each banner with the "blood flag" from the beer hall putsch. Unfortunately some people are deluded enough to not understand what/who the Nazi's really were. Others, even more unfortunately, don't see a problem with their policies. Which one do you fall into?

Well, no one cares about Hitlers parents except for the fact they were Hitlers parents. People are interested in them because of the old nature vs. nurture debate. Was Hitler born a monster or was he made a monster? I think that their pictures have historic value and should be displayed in a museum, but hanging them in ones home is essentially akin to hanging portraits of say Charles Manson's parents.

Probably for the best. I doubt your "ideas" are really going to resonate well with most on this board. There should be quite a few storm front sites that would be happy to have you though.
