Ok, I ordered a Chinese clone Arduino...should be here in about 8-10 days.
I have been using the Parallax Platform...but, they use Pbasic which is not a very widely used language....did not want to get that deep into it.
So if you could recommend a good book or site that has a lot great projects I would really appreciate it. Nothing too beginner...I would say I am at the advanced beginner level.
I have read a little about Arduino, and other experimental microboards, but I haven't ever played with them. What publications do you normally read for this? I suppose you would already be familiar with some electronics magazines (wow, I haven't read any of them for a long time, and they were all going out of business when I did). I think that CNET picked up on it.

Yeah, I am a hobbyist, have been playing around with electronics for quite a while. Pretty neat open-source board....people mainly program it in C/C++.
I guess you are right, should have posted it over in Sci/Tech...thanks.
