My hobby / passion for the past eight years has been a complete restoration of my 1952 Willys CJ 3a. Here's the result.

Good job!

I restored a 1961 Chevy truck 20 years ago and I enjoyed driving it.

I just bought a rusty old 1971 Honda N600 sedan to restore. At least it's a very tiny car.

Beautiful Vehicle! A family friend had one years ago and used to take us kids ( I think I was 8), and the family dog, 4wheeling at Sandy Neck Beach on Cape Cod.

Did you know that you can fit 8 kids, 4 adults and 1 dog into a Jeep that size??!! It's true!!

Beautiful Willys jeep restoration. Did you do any upgrades or did you stay original..? I myself really love the old flatfenders and have been looking for a '52 M38. Oh, I had to chuckle a bit when someone posted "beautiful truck". I get that all the time when folks comment on my '52 Dodge M37 ... they say "nice jeep you got there".

Having a 1985 BITTER SC that is in dire need of restoration, I need to figure out if I want to buy yet another one in need of less work and use mine as a parts car. They are pretty rare and I'd hate to tell myself the same thing if I sell mine for peanuts. There is some kind of a reality TV show with an unreal concept: PimpYourRide......A group of auto restorers take a beat up old jalopy that some motorist uses as his/her everyday driver & they super customize it with all sorts of mods. I'll have to check it out (or win some kind of lottery to get my car back to it's original condition).

I pleaded with my father to let me store it here before he passed away. He kept on asking me almost every time we spoke on the phone, "Did you get rid of that bummer yet, son"?

My reply always was, "Not yet, Dad, and it's a BITTER, not a bummer.

I bet you he'd be turning over in his grave if he knew I have it here now. Maybe he does know and maybe he IS turning over in his grave.

Sorry, Dad!

The guy that bought my Diamond T built a house on the bed with hand split cedar shakes , pot belly wood stove, stained glass windows and lots of excellent wood carving.
I always wanted to get an old Karmann Ghia and try to make it look "stock new". Maybe when my rich uncle gets out of the poorhouse !
