Collecting trophies in the form of dead animals is a despicable hobby IMO.

Cooking. And watching cooking shows.

I don't find cooking relaxing or enjoyable, and I definitely don't enjoy watching cooking shows where the host makes it look easy or are shouting at people all the time. Of course cooking is easy when you have a team of people prepping all the ingredients for you off screen and you have a massive kitchen with plenty of space, and you don't have to clean up the mess you make.

Where'd you get that from?

What kind of opinion is that?

You're obviously not very...(cough)....LOL

*Did* have to laugh at "drinking" as a hobby, though. If your hobby is spending plenty of time at a urinal, stinking of beer and slobbering around, including the occasional nose-touch test and reverse alphabet contest with the police on the roadside, then I suppose it's a hobby. Why women tolerate that in a man is a good question. I'm a militant teetotaler, however, with little if-any use for alcohol in myself or others.

"Wine connoisseur" or -tequila, -rum, -vodka, I might buy as a hobby. I was something if a vodka connoisseur before I later stayed stinking drunk on it most of the time. One sometimes follows the other. It does not need to, though.

Model building, remote control car racing.
My husband does/did these. Becomes obsessed and buys everything little stupid thing in multiples. Little jars of paint, little special tools electric engines, gas engines, controllers, on and on. Then looses interest and all dumped in boxes in garage, gets thrown out, starts new hobby wash, rinse, repeat.

I dislike hobbies that embolden their enthusiasts to create public policies that force taxpayers to pay to support their hobbies.

Why are you people picking on us knitters? What did we do to deserve such disdain?

Casinos...I have zero interest in poker or blackjack and might do the slot machines for 5 minutes but then I'm done.
