He was. This could be a blow to Team Canada, too.
There's speculation that he won't be ready for Sochi. If we take him and he's not ready, we miss taking a replacement, as he was injured prior to the selection process. If we don't, and he's healthy, we leave arguably the best goal scorer in the world behind.
