Hi again . . . I have a lighting question for you all . . . so my kitchen has a bar counter which opens up into the dining room, and my kitchen cabinets are going to have reddish tones (cranberry stain on maple).
It seems like there are two directions I could go:
1. Use these red pendant lights over the kitchen bar counter to tie in with the cabinets and black counters:
5" Verona Pendant Light - 502-1FR ELK lighting (http://www.simplypendantlighting.com/spl5021frek.html - broken link)
(I've seen the lights next to my counters, cab color, counters, and floor samples and it looks pretty darn slick imo).
2. Instead use a red chandelier in the dining room to transition into the redness of the kitchen cabinets (
Kenroy 44305BSLAVA - Medici Modern / Contemporary Chandelier KR-44305-BS-LAVA) and select a different (non-red) pendant instead.
I want the red to be accentuated, but don't want to overwhelm the home with red. Or maybe the cabinets themselves are enough red?
Thanks in advance for any advice.
