I've been trying to find a soothing neutral color for my bedroom. Initially, I was going to go with BM Metro Gray, but I think the grays are too cool for my sun-challenged bedroom and my light laminate floors.

Anyone have any suggestions?

It's all to your preference, of course. And somewhat depends on other colors in the room, but I'd be thinking a cafe au lait color, light coffee color...

If you like blues and greys, try Sherwin Williams Meditative. I have that in my living and dining rooms, and it looks fabulous. Those rooms do not get a lot of light but the color isn't too cool or warm. I get lots of compliments on the color and would not hesitate to use it in a bedroom. If you like grey/greens, try SW Ancient Marble.

Thanks for all your suggestions. I remember Art Teacher Mom on another thread painted her living room in Olympic Classic Khaki and it was just beautiful. That's what I ended up using since there are so many variations of beige. It looks nice and hopefully, will be good for resale.

I think I will try the blue-gray in my next house if I have a bigger bedroom. It just didn't seem to work in my 14x10 master bedroom.
