My wife got four chairs from Craiglist for very cheap and now need round table to match them. She loves good deals on Craiglist. I thought it is a bad idea because it is very tough to match the metallic color of the chairs (wood painted with metallic silvery bronze color) to any table.
Is there a name for this color? I need to buy some paint or furniture pen to cover up some scratches.
Do you think round glass table or round wood table will be better with these chairs. If wooden table, what color/shade? May be you can give me some recommendation with a link to a table that is sold by a furniture store that will match with these chairs. We are willing to spend up to $800 .I live in San Diego.
Looks like a bronze color paint. You could probably get some spray paint that color at Walmart for about $3 and spray it on a palette and then gob up some on a touch up brush (of course try it in a hidden place to determine match). I have a round glass table in my dining nook. Sure shows a lot of dirt. Pretty, tho. I would prefer a solid wood table and like the idea of dark wood for a contrast.
I hope to buy this table for the chairs, this is similar to wildcard's suggestion. But I need to see if my wife likes it or not. I think the distressed look is good since the chairs are not brand new.

thanks,
I'm not loving it with your chairs. I think your chairs are elegant/contemporary looking and this table almost seems to have a country flair to it. I would go with something more traditional but more simple lines. Maybe a nice solid base but not busy.
