yes yes yes, me too,,,,,,ugh I just can't do it anymore. I used to have the pot-pouri jars with the wax in the jar with the candle underneath....loved the vanilla mixed with eucalyputs, half hour later, afrin nasal spray for me....

I too also like the different smells, but the nasal passages don't......

I was a Yankee candle tart burner for years and a few years back noticed they lost their scent almost immediately. A friend told me about the Christmas Tree Hill little squares, which you just pop out and burn. They are wonderful and much, much less inexpensive than Yankee Candle. Haven't bought a Yankee in several years now.

Yes! Love "posh" candles - every once in a while, I score a gem from Tuesday Morning.

I hate you OP!!

I too thought that Yankee Candle was "luxury", so I just had to try one of your suggestions. I decided on the Votivo Christmas Sage candle because I found a retailer nearby. I could swing $30 though.

Some of the others....oh my! There is just NO WAY I see myself ever spending $200 on a candle.

Thanks for the tip.

so was the new candle worth it??

I have paid $20 for a large BBW candle, so $30 is not much more... but was it better?
