Okay this may sound like a stupid question. But I am clueless anyways. LOL But when it comes to paining the INTERIOR of a house, are there better temperatures to do that in? someone told me cold weather is not good because you cant (or wouldn't want to) open the windows when its cold out. Id actually like to paint the living room/kitchen next month. I live in Massachusetts if that helps.

Maybe, but you were smart enough to ask for help!

Good luck with your painting.

painting in the cold is fine, as long as the heat is on where you can open a window. I actually prefer painting in the winter. Hopefully the day you pick it will not be humid and cold, that is not good. I'm here in NY, our weather is about the same.

Personally, I would wait more till November unless it is very dry out, where you can open a window

Do not however paint with the A/C on, the paint will never dry, and when it does it will be blotchy, circa 1979, we learn from our mistakes

I did a whole repaint over the summer and we didn't have to open windows as there was minimal paint smell. And, since this is Florida - the A/C was on the entire time.

Wow, really 1979 and you don't think there are any improvements to paint in that time. Let alone that it could well have been the application and not the a/c that caused the problem. Hope you are not stuck in the '70's for other stuff in your life.
