Something like this: L and L of Raleigh - Photo Galleries

I realize these shelves/cabinets are built into that wall, but I'm wondering how much it would cost to build something like this onto an existing wall. Anyone have any idea how much something like this would cost? The curve arch looks expensive. I'd go with something simpler if it saved us money. I just want some shelving and storage that looks nice. I don't need fancy.

Is this really expensive to do? I know it all depends on your area and what not, but just wondering what a ball park would be.

Each side would be about $750-1k complete. Build, install, and paint.
Difference(s) would be in style, dimensions, and types of materials.

Agreed. My gut was around $1500 with the picture I saw, but it will vary as K'ledgeBldr stated (my guestimate was on the low end of his range).
