Most of these are way too big for me. I know I'm coming from a world of tiny kitchens (I don't even have a standard-sized stove) but since I don't cook, I don't need anything that big. If I had to pick any, I'd probably pick the last one because somehow it seems the simplest/least ornate.

I liked hardly two or three among those fourteen. There was something extra in those designs and normally no one can use these kind of kitchen. There is no requirement of tv in kitchen as no one cooks the whole day :/.

Personally I like the kitchen that is in the home Marilyn Monroe bought but I would like a bit smaller version.

I assume they were staged for the photos and when in daily use are probably not quite like that. Even with daily maid service, all but the most OCD would have a bit of clutter around.

The one with the range right up to the huge window is pretty awesome. I wonder how it would be cleaning that though.

I liked quite a few of them. My kitchen doesn't need to be that big to get ideas from the pictures. It was nice to see some of the great lighting choices and the counter and flooring finishes used with white cabinets. I also liked seeing a mix of different metals in hardware, lighting, etc. I had a thread about that a few months ago because I felt my lighting needed to match my cabinet knobs and pulls.

None of them really look lived in, as someone pointed out. I chose the one I showed only because of the colors.

They are those only people who can afford maids and cooks can afford.

Throw some mail on the counter, hang a few book bags on the stools, put some pots on the stove and dirty dishes in the sink and it will look lived in.

That's silly.

I liked the white one and the one with the view the best. I also like the one you liked with the exposed beams. I think the common theme with all of these was size--so much space! Most people don't have kitchens that large so it is hard for me to manage smaller scaled versions of these projects.

^^^^
They seem incredible to many people but personally, I find them to be a monotonous solution in many homes.
However, I would love to have a gas range/stove (been stuck with electric for too long) and a walk-in
pantry (which are making a come back).
