One day thrash on the house based on feedback from the last open house event.
The upstairs bedroom that used to be the old primary bedroom hasn’t been touched since we had a roommate in there. He had painted the room green and done a crap job of patching the plaster ceiling a number of years ago, but we never did anything about it after he left. Paint was in rough shape and the trim was all beige and kind of dingy.
So after a person noticed the old patch job and asked about active leaks, and just in general that room not living up to the rest of the house, I decided to redo it. Took all the shelves down, filled all the holes in the walls, redid the ceiling, added crown molding, and repainted the room and trim to match the feel and quality rest of the house. Just in time for a series of open house events and appointments yesterday through Sunday.
Did the same with another roommate's bedroom. A disabled Vet with PTSD and a stroke, and a pit bull that had to be confined to his room, except at designated times, as he mauled our other dogs (I wanted him put down, which he finally was after he attacked a person). The room had been trashed. Walls were damaged, ceiling was damaged (don't even know how he did that) and the floor was ruined (or so it seemed). Finished this one off before professional pics were taken for the house listing.
Slowly going through stuff in the basement. All the containers are the plastic kind with snap on lids. When we moved here 19 years ago I bought them instead of using cardboard boxes. I’m glad I did. They stack nicely too. Anyway I need to go through them every so often and see what I can donate.
I guess I should update that our Master Bathroom Remodel is complete. ( well.... maybe 99.4% complete). Still to be installed grab bars in shower
Overall, I'm thrilled and it is 1000% nicer than what was. I can point out my mistakes, but overall they are few and far between and not worth thinking about.

I'm a huge fan of the clear plastic bins with lids for home and work. I'm kind of OCD about them actually and only buy a couple of specific types so they stack neatly and look nice. I'm currently working on organizing our excess inventory at work using the clear bins. I write what's inside on a half sheet of colored cardstock paper and slide it inside on one end.
