The pictures below are a couple pieces of furniture I made from scratch, Im wanting to get some opinions, constructive criticism, etc, just to see what people think of it, and/or if its 'sellable' or there is a market for such things.

Im also working on a large L shaped desk, that I finished completely in Kedas Royal blue wood dye, the color is STUNNING, I will have some pictures of it when its done soon.

Thank you!

There are lots of variables that would go into answering that question. Are you thinking of internet sales, craft fair type things or local merchants? I am guessing that you will not be able to ship it, so that is a limitation in terms of marketing. Are there shops in your locale that would rent space to you for you to sell?

While it appears from the pictures to be nicely done, it is too rustic for my home. Do you know your market near where you live?

These kinds of pieces would be popular in ski lodge type communities where people buy second homes... Park City, Aspen, Tahoe, Durango, etc...

I have a friend who searched high and low for rustic-cabin styled furnishings when for her house in a Colorado mountain community. She would have been very interested in these kinds of items.

I think Etsy is the place to start.

Building furniture is good way to find out just how cheap most folks are.

I think the work you have done is fine but there is some more requirement of finishing which can give you a better sale option.

I do have the headboard posted on Etsy, Im wasnt real sure what its worth though, to the right person, they would pay $500 for such a piece but to another person, they may feel its only worth $50.

I like your headboard- it's very nice. Probably go over well in the northwestern states or maybe Maine.

Definitely rustic - maybe for cabin homes.

I wasn't sure what the first piece was supposed to be. He made an art piece on stilts? LOL
