tin ceiling to make hallway look larger/brighter-advice (tiles, curtains, pictures)

I'm redoing a hallway that has no windows and one glass door. This is a mobile home so the hall is long.

I'd like to use tin ceiling panels/tile so that the light can reflect from the door to give it a more lively feel.

I've seen tiles that are square that contain 1 large square, 4 smaller squares, or 8 littler squares.

For this space, which one would be best to make the feel larger?

And anyone have experience w/ tin-tips or tricks or things you wish you would have known?

It would be good to see photos, but my first instinct would be either the four or eight square. Especially if you will have to cut any to fit.

Unless you are using the silver or white, I'm not sure if it would add light to the room. Here's a website with lots of good pictures.

I used to live in a mobile home years ago. You can do so many neat decorative things with them. One time I put curtains up in the hall to make it "look" like there was a window there.
