I just purchased a duplex in Naples and it needs a lot of work. It currently has typical 12" tile flooring which I think should be replaced. Anyway, with regard to replacement, how do the costs compare from new tile or bamboo. I would love bamboo but it is much more costly or about the same as tile flooring? Lumber Liquidaters? I was also considering acid stained concrete. Susan

I bought the bamboo flooring from Floor&Decor Outlet. so far their bamboo flooring is the best i've seen, the lines from the bamboo material is a lot thinner it doesnt look like bamboo at all. lots of colors to choose from too, i got the carbonized one. they have it for $1.99-3.99 per sqft
I hate tiles if its not a wet area. I suggest a mix. I think cost is about the same

The tile will provide some coolness in the hot weather, but if you're not worried about cooling go for it.
