[quote=LVMYDACH;8528096]I am thinking about getting the Wilsonart HD Bella Capri countertops. My kitchen has oak cabinets, black appliances and tan flooring. From the sample I got from Home Depot, it looks like it would go really nice in my kitchen. The display countertop that they had at Home Depot in the Bella Capri looked really good for a laminate countertop.
Bella Capri is my first choice now for our countertops. How nice you could see a large display countertop! Have had Wilsonart before it it held up for 30 years until a repairman for the built in oven, fractured a corner of the laminate and the entire countertop had to be replaced. do you have a backsplash with your Bella Capri? What it's like?
SunInHair - The Bella Capri countertop display that I saw at Home Depot did have a backsplash attached to to it. It looked very nice. If I decide to get the Wilsonart HD countertops I will need to get the backsplash installed too, since my current laminate countertop has one. I was glad that I got to see the Bella Capri countertop display in person to get an idea of what it would look like. It did look good and I was impressed as to the improvements that have been made to laminate countertops! Especially with the design look of the Bella Capri which resembles the look of granite countertops.
I just put in Wilsonart H-D deepstar glaze and it looks terrific. With the post-form (as opposed to sheet) you get a formed backsplash and choice of edges as well. Granite is lovely and I like natural but for me it just looked too cold and hard--this is warm and welcoming. Love it.
