I have a 1994 Accord, 4 cyl automatic. unknown mileage, odometer quit at 204k, im guessing 270k. Wont crank when the key is turned, however I can turn the key to the ON position and use a bar to touch the two terminals together on the starter, and it fires right up, can drive all day like that with no problems. I have seen a lot of threads on here about similar problems with the car not starting, but no one mentions being able to get it started the way I'm able to. changed out the ignition switch, didnt make a difference. there is a relay that clicks under the dash when the key is turned to START, not sure which relay it is. could the ignition relay under the hood be bad? any help appreciated. thanks
