I'm so excited to find links to younglisa7 flip in Florida they are just starting I miss her updates in the TN section. This new flip looks to be a big challenge with water damage, overgrown outside plants and a lot of other nasty's lurking. Of course Mike & Lisa , along with Niki's help will have it looking fabulous before they are finished with it!
Great minds think alike Jaxson. I love Lisa's blog and just yesterday I decided to take a look at it. It had been about 3 weeks since I last read it. Lo and behold, the flip house was up. I was so excited. They do excellent work and are just so talented. I love Niki and how she is always in the pics supervising.
It was one of the highest read threads on CD when she was sharing the TN house. It amazes me how much those 2 get done compared to whole construction crews.
These guys are nothing if not entertaining. Some of the things they do on the building front make you cringe, but never having done any of this before, you can't expect much. Eventually they get it sorted out. (Have they never heard of books?)
One has to admire their chutzpah (they must have deep pockets to begin with) and they don't seem to be daunted by challenges. Their documentation is wonderful, and watching them undertake each challenge is quite interesting/entertaining.
Just don't think i would ever want to own one of their 'projects'. Yikes.
While I have and do enjoy watching what they do (plus I admire them), I would like some hard numbers when all is said and done. If memory serves me correctly they did not provide such on the last redo in FL.

Numbers or not, I do enjoy.
Well, they are running a business when all is said and done. They can't give you their profit margin or prospective buyers would have a bargaining chip. However, unless they are independently wealthy, they are making money on these flips. I think that's clear from Lisa's text.
They have to be getting good deals from local contractors/ suppliers since they are always fixing up in the same general area of FL. Plus the fact that they didn't know this particular house had specific water damage leads me to believe this was a forclosure/ as-is sold house and they are taking a risk that its really a dud.
