Hanging light in Foyer (paint, ceiling, buying, cheaper)

Does anyone have any tips on how to reach a hanging foyer light to clean it?

The bottom of our light is approx. 15 feet off the ground in the middle of the foyer. I see the chain running up to the ceiling is also dusty.

Is it a matter of renting a 16 - 20 foot A-ladder from Sunbelt Rentals or a similar kind of place? Looks like that will run about $75-100.

Get a long handled duster. I'm sure they will be much cheaper than renting/buying a ladder.

If you really want to "clean" it- yeah, a ladder is the way to go.

If you just need to "dust" it- get a painter's extension pole and tape a swiffer to the end of it.
