I am thinking to use HD's installation of Clopay coachman collection, because they looks pretty good and fits our house design. I was wondering is how's HD's installation and Clopay's quality especially coachman collection?
HD's collaboration with Clopay is simply as a "retail" outlet. The installation will be by a "certified" Clopay installer (3rd party).
Clopay has several different lines...
Qualities to look for- coated rails, nylon rollers, insulated panels, metal thickness.
I suspect Clopay hasn't change that much over the years, they were an OK door. When I was looking for a new door line to spec for my houses I eventually settled on Amarr doors; good quality and warranty statement. The hard part was convincing my contractor to start carrying them!
