Just finished the Restore A Deck and Brightener in hopes of applying TWP100 this weekend. The problem is I've heard conflicting info on how hot is too hot as far as the weather. I'm in GA so this weekend will be approaching 100 degrees. I was thinking of doing it around 5PM Saturday evening or sometime Sunday. Maybe Sunday morning.

Anyone had any issues applying TWP in hot weather?

Ugh. The can doesn't say anything about temp so I asked on their product page/forum and was told 90 would be too hot. I called them today and the guy I spoke with said it didn't matter how hot it was.

Those temps I posted are kind of general for all applications. Paints, stains, restores. Too hot, dries too quick and often discoloration. Too cold dries to slow leading to possible missteps, leaves, dirt, ruining uniformity.

Always be cautious of the 1 800 number as you don't know who you get experience wise.

Looks like Sunday morning until around 10AM I might be good. Would it matter that the temp will get higher after it's applied? Or does it just matter applying?

Usually during application. Start early, be done early.

Remember, recommendations are just that.

It's either that or start at 9PM Sat night.

A few years back, during an incredibly hot summer here, that's exactly what I did: work at night.

Question: is your product sprayer compatible? If so, spend the 30 bucks at lowes/Home Depot on rental and finish quick.

sprayer? I was gonna use a brush. Not sure about spraying. I don't want to overspray. I bought one of those brushes that screws onto a pole. Saw a youtube video and it looks pretty simple. Also, it's not a huge deck.

Then good brush and handle is fine. Just checked: it is sprayer compatible. But if not large, brush will have you down in an hour or 2 tops.
