Great thread and I agree with the blue Dawn. I do use non ammonia glass cleaner for granite countertops (and mirrors ).
Love the Shark Steam mop for flooring ( just uses tap water).
My question re toilets- I have relatively new ones, that basically look really fine except there is a blue-ish ring from some sort of mineral in the water. Its not very pronounced, but I cannot seem to get it off. I have tried mr clean eraser , baking soda, comet,.... anyone have any great ideas?
(will look up pumie that someone mentioned a page ago)
But it's interesting how many of you mentioned the blue Dawn. I'll have to read up more on that.
Same here.
I use Kaboom! for the bathrooms
Flings! for the wash
Magic Erasers for kitchen
Cascade Ultimate pods for dishwasher
Shark steam mop for floors
Bona for wood

you could try CLR (probably what I would use) or Lime-away. With either product squirt some in, let it set a while (an hour or so) scrub with a brush and flush.
Oxyclean for stains
Borax and Washing soda for laundry, maybe a bit of Woolite too. Fels Naptha soap for hot water wash
Lemon and olive oil for wood furniture
Bleach for toilet
Dawn for dishes and kitchen cleaning
Cleanser for bathtub and sink
Windex
Brillo for pots and pans
Baking soda and vinegar for plugged up drains
Windex on the kitchen appliances, and I like those handy Clorox wipes to tidy up the bathrooms.
