I purchased online a natural latex mattress (it has several layers of latex of different densities). I believe natural latex has no offgassing problem .

No one has mentioned the eve mattress yet. One of the original foam in a box mattresses. Same 100 day warranty.

You can purchase foam mattresses with springs. They're pretty amazing and very comfy. The come in a small box, but expand. They're just as good or better than regular mattresses. Check Amazon.

Or buy an innerspring mattress with a foam topper. When the sag becomes unbearable, you can just replace the topper.

Thanks for all the info. I am also in the market for a mattress and has been looking at a few of these companies.

No. Natural latex has no offgassing problems. I have always slept on pure natural latex and would never buy anything else. They don't sag.

OP - you might want to check the Tuft&Needle mattress line. It has phenomenal reviews online.

Trapper - all you said sounds great, but your mattress cost twice as much than Casper. For some people that might be a deal breaker.

Do your homework. I have read some reviews where if you want to return it and they tell you to donate it, YOU are responsible for finding a charity to come pick it up. Some charities don't take mattresses. Some charities won't come into your house. Some people live in rural or semi-rural areas where they can't find a charity to come pick up the mattress.

I spent countless hours researching these choices and still haven't found the good trustworthy one.

I would say, beware of the reviews. They may not be as non-biased as we are lead to think.

Another problem (also apply to mattress bought in the store) is that you may feel great laying on the bed at that time but you cant tell if you will have any problem sleeping on it for the whole night or 3 months from now.

I've ordered two online now. One pretty expensive one from Novosbed (around $1200) for my wife and I, the other a super cheap full size mattress on Amazon (like $150) for one of our kids. I can't tell the difference between the two.

Both are really comfortable; I can't imagine ever going to a used car dealership, er, mattress dealer again.
