I purchased an outdoor security camera but it needs a cable ran to it.
I think I'm wanting to purchase a wide angle, battery powered or some kind of rechargeable outdoor security camera. I saw some that were solar powered but don't know if it's only powered by solar or batteries or what else. I'm thinking I may like a solar powered one.
I don't want anything you have to wire or run a cable outside.
I'll pay up to $150 for one.
I have read and read about them on Amazon but I get confused and don't know which one to buy!
Anyone have experience with one of these? Thank you.

I have wireless cameras, but you're not going to find anything for $150. I have Arlo cameras that cost $250 each. They are not great, with lots of "issues". Still, they're the cheapest ones I could find that do what I need. The camera feed is wifi, but they need a power source (or they can be used as POE).

You can find lots of good cameras under $150. WiFi cans are lesser quality video than poe cameras. But you will need to invest in a dedicated pc or an nvr to run the cameras, and that is not cheap or a simple setup.

True, but OP specifically said they don't want to run wires.

Do you have smartphone and light outside your house?
I just saw those wireless light bulb security cameras on Amazon, wonder if that could work for you:

also scroll down to the end of the page to see similar products
I have Arlo Pro, and I am happy with it.
How many cameras you need to install?

Here is Arlo with one camera for ~$150

With two for $180 (from other seller - that's actually a great price!)

Thank you elnina.
I did look at the one you sent a link of. That one isn't wireless.
I also looked at some of the bulb's but the ones I saw were for inside.
And the other Arlo were add-on camera's.
I just want a decent camera around $150 that I don't need wires.
I only want one the front door and yard. Thank you for your help!

This link is your best bet for a simple wireless & battery operated camera for under $150.
