See the sticky at the top of the forum. Heat is best left to professionals, and even then they can hide in cooler cracks in baseboards, etc.

I agree to look at the DIY sticky at the top of the forum. But just use D.E. and sprinkle on carpet etc... safe and cheap.

The fact that you think you can do this cheap tells me you need to hire a professional. It's going to be expensive but there is no way you can replicate professional results.

And without knowing anything about where you want to treat, no advice can be offered. You may as well be asking "should I buy this car?" and not tell us anything at all about it. How many floors? Square feet? Age of structure? Open or closed style? Lots of factors go into it.

Best and cheap are not two words that go together. If you want good tools, you have to pay money to get them.

Really, heat treatment for bedbugs is not a do-it-yourself project.

  • Bed bug heat treatment may be helpful in these situations.
  • Well, there are many online stores who supply Bed Bugs Heat Treatment Heater.
  • Do MY Own, Bed Bug Supply Store and many more online store you can find out at Internet, as these stores offer portable bed bug heaters for your personal items, such as clothes, shoes, handbags, etc.
  • But, heat treatment for homes need room temperatures to levels at least 117 degrees Fahrenheit—in all areas.
  • Taking help of professional pest controls East Bay, CA or any other local bed bug exterminator will use it with proper equipment.
  • This is generally considered to be an effective but expensive way to eradicate bed bug infestations, but when properly performed, can often provide control.

I could do that tomorrow just by shutting off the AC and turning on the heat and opening the ductwork to heat up the basement. Fortunately I don't have bedbugs though.
