every time i turned my heat on, the pipe in the boiler room would do this loud crazy water steam pressure thing, so i called a company to check on it. and they changed my PRV to the main water line. as soon as they changed it, my house immediately had extremely low pressures especially compared to before. how can i stop that crazy pipe thing from happening and continue to keep strong water pressure throughout the house?

The first question would be- was the PRV defective? If so, then replacement was warranted. The second question would be is the new PRV set correctly? If so, then you'll just have to get use to the "correct" pressure in the house- instead of the blast you were getting before.

Have you talked to the company that did the work? How did you select them (neighbors recommendation, phone book, advisory website?) If you trust the company ask them to resolve the issue. If you don't talk to another plumbing company.

To start with, define "crazy pipe thing." Hammer? Bubbling/hissing? Rumble?

I am having trouble connecting a heating system issue with a main water line fix (and yes, I do have experience with hydronic heating systems, unfortunately).

It could be as simple as their forgetting to open the service valve all the way after the work was done, but your description is... a bit vague.
