I couldn't see spending money to get rid of it, certainly not before you tried using it. You may find it more useful than you think just looking at it.

If my laundry room was large enough for a slop sink I would keep it. I need one but have not figured out where to put one without a lot of extra plumbing.

Also, definitely go with a laundry faucet with a wand (either the Kohler Simplice pull-out or the Moen Arbor pull-down Laundry Faucet). Be sure to go with one designed as a laundry faucet and not as a kitchen faucet. Note that you may need to drill a center hole with a hole saw if your laundry sink was designed for a centerset laundry faucet.

Got rid of mine in the laundry room.....really didn't use it all that much. Much more useful in the garage.
