One day, out of the blue, DH said, “There are two things in the house that, if they broke, I’d replace them the next day.”

His were, his power recliner and the bidet toilet seat.

Mine would also be the recliner and any major kitchen appliance.

What are yours?

Hot water dispenser.... a priority for me and my husband.
When that breaks, it gets replaced immediately, often the same day.

DH would add his BiPAP.
I would add the modem/router.

Hot water heater - we preemptively replaced it last month when we realized it was 11 years old.

Wifi router.

The TV - we only have one.

I used to say this "hot water heater" but it should be "water heater".

People really seem to get attached to those bidets once they get them.
