I was thinking the same thing.

We remodeled a house once that someone died in, and we couldn't get their smell out until we ripped up and replaced the subfloor. It had absorbed all their fluids (person was in the house for about a week before being found). You may have to do the same.

When I moved in I decided to gut the whole bathroom, and when I pulled up the toilet I discovered that the pee had gotten under the linoleum and soaked into the plywood subfloor. I replaced all of the subfloor and the smell was gone.
I was going to say, young men and older men often miss. And with older men, their "valves" don't work as well, so there is dribbling that occurs.
