We need to have about 1/3 or less of our bathroom floor replaced (1/2" plywood under the backer board) and then have concrete sub flooring installed over the entire floor. Bathroom floor is 5’ 4” x 4’ 11”. We already started pulling up the current sub floor and cut a hole through the plywood. I put an add on CL for a contractor/carpenter. How much should I expect to pay for this job, labor only? We will be paying for all materials. Thanks everyone!

BTW this is the bathroom currently to give you an idea:

What kind of floor do you want? Tile, marble, etc.? Is this a wood floor? If so, then you would need a base for any tile work. What part of the US are you in?

Where I live in Florida - no one would touch it for under $500 if at all, because it wouldn't be worth it for them.

All we need done is having about 1/3 or less of the plywood floor removed and replaced, then having cement broad put on top and ready for tile. Thats it. No other work.
