Are the U-turn lanes (that go under the 1-10 overpass) at Gessner and 1-10 suppose to be two lanes? Many times a car will get out of the line at the U-turn lane and drive up to the front of the line next to the 1st car in line like its two lanes. Its wide enough for two cars but it doesn't seem safe to double up here.

It's almost quicker to take 2 left turns at that intersection.

It is made wide for trucks, not cars. It is a single lane. If this was India, Italy, or Mexico, then it would be a free-for-all highway.

I know what you mean, it does seem wide enough for two. But it's only one.

If it was for two lanes, it would be clearly marked with white lines.

My hubs works right by there. It's a single lane. I was abruptly alerted to that fact the last time I met him for lunch!
