I live near 1960 and champion forest drive and one of the things I really miss is the whole food market. The closest one is in woodlands which is like 15-18 miles from my house. Anyone else knows any other organic food market? I want to buy good quality chicken and tuna salad!

Wouldn't the HEB Vintage Market at 249 and Louetta be much closer for the OP?

Neither one is a super substitute for a full-on organic market, but they do have a broad selection.

There is a new very small market, just opened on 1960 west of Champion Forest. Also, a health food restaurant, with drive through open on 1960, south side between Paradise Valley and Champions. I have not been to either, yet. Costco has organic chickens.

I've put in so many requests to Whole Foods to open a store in Northwest Houston I've lost count. Meanwhile I drive to the Bellaire store (easiest to get to and larger than the Wilcrest store) and drive to Georgia's Market on I-10 near Dairy Ashford, plus our neighborhood co-op has organic produce, dairy and eggs delivered to us from area farms each Friday.

The restaurant Crone is talking about is Franks & the Toppings at 1960 and Durham, an all-organic fast food restaurant - more like a tiny diner with drive through. It's good!

Whole Foods must still be paying for the store on the upper west side @96th and Columbus. My daughter watched the construction out of her window. They are doing a good business, but will never overtake Zabar's.

Thanks, Mr. Football. Is it the kind where you just give them money every week, and get a box of produce?
