Cooking? Dining out? Huge blow-out cooking for family and extended family? Don't celebrate it? Was planning to dine out for the first time ever ..... family members put on the disappointed face and now we are cooking the big blow-out meal. So back to the standard tradition.

This year I decided to skip the family BS & drama, and stay home, order pizza, watch old movies and veg out!!!!! So far, I LOVE IT!!!

Did the same except I cooked a big pot of chili last night. Have been snacking on it all day and watching movies and football on TV. No drama, no pressure, no kidding, just a relaxing day.

Thanksgiving is not part of the British tradition, so normally I don't do anything, but today I went out to a buffet lunch with friends to the Hotel Galvez in Galveston--very posh and lovely table by the window overlooking to the ocean. They even made me a special dessert without eggs, which I don't eat. I am very thankful for today's experience.
