Need a suggestion on stores where I can find a unique toy for a 1-year old girl. She gets very spoiled by one end of her family and has everything imaginable in the common toys for that age. Doesn't have to be extravagant, just looking for something unusual that a little girl that age would really love.

Awww, here's somebody with the Christmas spirit! What about a hand crafted item/decoration such as a door nameplate, frame, ornament, etc? Try the Houston Ballet Craft Show at reliant centre (forgot the name of the actual craft show-maybe Nutcracker?). I've never been to, but try www.westsidekindertoys.com , they have great reviews.

The very best Tooth Fairy container you can find - preferably sterling silver. She'll use it over and over again, and most likely keep it afterwards.

I gave the first one at a baby shower over 30 years ago. The baby has since grown up and now her son is going to use it. I have given them several times - you think I would buy in bulk when I see a good one. Inscribe the bottom From Aunt Jane or whoever.
