Sounds more like a documentary.

Just kidding. (well, not to all - you know who you are).

I cannot believe nobody has mentioned Robocop II which has many scenes filmed in downtown/midtown Houston, particularly in freedman's town.

I wasn't going to contribute to this forum because of the petty moderators but this is a 'must comment' as I have an affinity with the good folks of freedman's town.

Where would you guys think it would be a good location to shoot scenece and to do a movie? What do you imagine the movie will be about.
I could see the Galveston area used in movies. Especially around the downtown area.

Houston certainly could use some movie exposure. It's a great city. I especially like the idea posted earlier - a car plunging from a Beltway 8 ramp!!! Slow-motion.

I already tense up going on those high curved ramps - I don't need a visual of a car going off!

You have this new movie coming out that was filmed all over Texas including Houston, Austin, Waco, Bastrop and others.

I think the movie is suppose to be set in Waco though.....I'm not sure.
