I will start off with Buffalo Speedway. STAY OFF that street. The cops there don't like people driving through the row of million dollar houses as if it isn't a public street paid for by taxpayers.

If you see cops hiding like this anywhere in town they are checking to if the stickers on your windshield are up to date

If this is the case, they ought to be looking at cars in the East End. Every time I'm in a parking lot around there (like Gulfgate or a strip center) I see one or more cars nearby with an expired sticker.

Pulling these cars over as they leave the parking lot and ticketing the drivers for expired stickers (plus whatever else turns up) would be a start toward replenishing the city's empty coffers.

Spur 527 exit to downtown from 59s. It seems as if there are cops there every other day pulling people over in the afternoon till work is out. I think it is mostly for sticker violations, but not sure.

Yeap I see them almost every day in my way out of downtown around 5-7 PM. The best part is that they slow traffic a crawl but who cares.
They're also in the 59 North HOV line by the downtown / spur 527 exit in the morning. Same ****e, checking for stickers and insurance, and of course traffic is always messed up.
