I've actually been doing a lot of reading about this for a while (when it was all some "big secret"!) because I live in the area. They are planning on developing a whole new village - Springwoods Village, 2000 acres just south of The Woodland adjacent to 45. It is suppose to have about 2000 (I think) homes ranging from$100,000 to $1 million. Plus office space/retail/etc to support 50k people. It will take many years, I think they said 2020 for full build out, but because of that I don't know how much it will affect these mid-range homes already for sale, depending on how quickly they move people down here. As an HAR stalker, I know that there are plenty of high end homes in The Woodland/Augusta Pines area that are available for those folks who are looking for that. What I'm most interested in is the fact that they expect it to bring TONS of construction related jobs to the area - since my husband is unemployed in that field! We are MORE than ready for a good turn around up here
