Default Nothing special

I am on business here in California, and there is one a block away. Nothing special about it if you ask me... but no one asked, so I'm stating my opinion.

That is what I have been saying over and over! So glad someone from Houston actually visted one. I don't get the hype over Trader Joe's or In N Out.

Try an In N Out and get back to us!

no no no no...Whole Foods is not in the same class at all. WF blows TJ away.

I think the location alone will be the death of TJ

I agree! I think just the fact that they don't carry very quality items compared to Whole Foods will put them as the underdog. I think at first due to how different and new they are to Houston that they will do good...but once folks get used to them and realize that they really are not that special then comes the death.

I've had them several times, once alone because I recall Dave Letterman used to have a field day with them. Then others times as the group I was with wanted to eat there. I don't care for special sauce, so their signature burger did nothing for me, it was like a different version of a Big Mac and that special sauce.

After the office, if I have time, I will go into TJ's and take pics with my Black Berry, and see if I can post here. There is a happy hour scheduled, so I man not have time though.

I LOVE Trader Joes... It would certainly make my pending move to Houston a little more appealing (not that I'm not already very excited). Trader Joes is nothing like Whole Foods... Its a lot cheaper and especially great for people that want to eat healthy and are on a tight budget. They also have great frozen food, which is convienient for people with really busy schedules.
